Good results come from how you study, not only how long. Here are seven habits you can start today.
1. Study in short blocks
Work for 25 to 40 minutes, then rest for five. Your attention is sharper and you remember more.
2. Test yourself
Closing the book and trying to recall a topic beats re-reading it. Use past papers and timed quizzes.
3. Space your revision
Review a topic after one day, one week and one month. Each review strengthens memory.
4. Teach someone
If you can explain a concept simply to a friend, you understand it.
5. Sleep enough
Memory is stored during sleep. Seven to eight hours matters more than one extra hour of study.
6. Fix weak areas first
It feels good to revise what you know. Begin with the topics you find hardest.
7. Plan tomorrow tonight
Write three tasks for the next day before you sleep, so you start without wasting time deciding.
